Essent Xpress is a bilateral online trading platform designed to add transparency to illiquid energy markets and non standard products by providing real time prices in an encrypted environment.

What are the costs to trade on Xpress?
There are no fees, commissions or set up costs to trade on Xpress. Since it is a bilateral trading platform there are no intermediaries and this reduces transaction costs considerably.
Is Xpress secure?
All data transferred over the internet is secured by using the https security protocol.
What are the system requirements for Xpress?
There is nothing to install for Xpress access if you have the Windows 2000/XP operating system and Internet Explorer 6 or better on your PC. We also prefer you have 512 MB of RAM or more.
How can I register for Essent Xpress?
Click on 'new user' on the Xpress login page and complete the form, or call us at +31 7 385 31459. You will receive an invitation and a User Agreement. To get access to Xpress, you must submit a completed User Agreement, have approval to trade by Essent Trading's credit department, and have relevant legal Master Agreements (ISDA, EFET) executed with Essent Trading.
Who can register for Essent Xpress?
Producers, traders and users of the energy commodities that are offered on the platform. Additional requirements apply to companies domiciled in the UK, US and France (contact us for more details).
How is a deal concluded on Essent Xpress?
A deal on Essent Xpress can be concluded as follows:
(1) An Essent Trader makes a bid or an offer, which an authorized trader can accept; or
(2) An Essent Trader invites authorised traders to negotiate against indicative online prices.
Where Essent Trading is making the offer, authorised traders can accept a transaction by clicking through the acceptance sequence on the website. From that moment in time the transaction is concluded. Where an authorised trader is invited to negotiate, he or she will be able to submit an offer by using the negotiation sequence on the website. Essent's traders can accept the offer and will notify the counterparty. From the time that Essent Trading accepts the offer the transaction is concluded.

Is the deal binding?
Yes, deals concluded on Essent Xpress are binding to both parties.
What Happens after a trade?
After the deal is concluded counterparties will automatically receive a trade notification by email . Then normal confirmation protocols apply (often confirmations are faxed and countersigned).
What obligations arise from the contract?
The obligations arising from the contract differ from product to product. Refer to our online term sheets for legally binding terms and conditions. Please note that most contracts are subject to master agreements such as ISDA, EFET or IETA. Trades can only be transacted where relevant master agreements are in place with Essent Energy Trading BV. The system automatically filters for the products you can trade on Xpress, based on the master agreements your authorised traders have in place with Essent Trading.
What are the platform's trading hours?
Trading is generally during weekdays from 9.30 to 16.00 CET. During evenings, weekends and nationwide public holidays in the Netherlands the system will be accessible, but prices are usually not listed after hours.
Where can I find the Master Agreements governing the contract?
For every traded product, the terms and conditions specify the applicable Master Agreement. To negotiate Master Agreements with Essent Trading please contact credit@essenttrading.com
